About Dr. Bichefsky

Helise Bichefsky, DO is one of the few remaining physicians able to stay on her own, placing the practice of medicine before the demands of insurance companies. As a sole practitioner, and just like days past, Dr. Bichefsky gets to know each and every one of her patients, personally. With office hours available every day, Dr. Bichefsky spends the time needed with each patient to listen to concerns, understand symptoms and help patients implement healthy lifestyle practices as preventative measures.

Practicing medicine since 1994, Dr. Bichefsky graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with a medical degree in Internal Medicine. Dr. Bichefsky really enjoys getting to know all her patients, devoting individual attention to the diverse needs of each and every one. Married with two children, Dr. B. (as her patients and staff affectionately refer to her as) enjoys scuba diving, gardening and volunteering at General Wayne Elementary where she heads up the school's newspaper committee.
